NEW ORLEANS (KRON) — A chaotic scene Friday night at the Louis Armstrong International Airport in New Orleans after a shooting and possible knife attack left at least one person wounded.
The shooting happened before 6:30 p.m. in Concourse B.
A journalist for the Boston Globe who witnessed the shooting tweeted that she saw a dead body near one of the airport’s security line. She reported that the suspect was shot by police.
“Just witnessed craziest thing: dead body at #NewOrleans airport. Man stabbed 2 pple at security line shot by police,” Farah Stockman tweeted.
Video from the scene posted on social media shows one female in a uniform being carried out on a gurney.
