BAY POINT (KRON)—A shooting during a Bay Point home marijuana dispensary robbery led to injuries and an arrest Tuesday night, a Contra Costa County Sheriff’s spokesman said.
Deputies responded to reports of a shooting on Crivello Avenue where they found someone with a gunshot wound outside the home.
The deputies found out after the person shot was one of two suspects that came to the dispensary to commit an armed robbery, sheriff’s spokesman Jimmy Lee said.
Two suspects allegedly robbed the home after kidnapping the homeowner at gunpoint, Lee said.
Several people inside the home were tied up and forced into a room. One of them was shot by a suspect and has non-life threatening, Lee said.
The suspect found outside the home was taken to the hospital. He is expected to be booked inside the Martinez Detention Facility.
One suspect is still on the loose. If you have any information about this case, call the sheriff’s Investigation Division at (925) 313-2600.
