SAN JOSE (KRON) — San Jose police have arrested the man that led them to issue a shelter-in-place order Friday afternoon.

Around 3 p.m. officers began searching for a man wanted on a felony warrant for a previous gang investigation.
A nearby school was been ordered to shelter-in-place as a precaution, but they were not in harms way. Police also asked residents to avoid the area as they searched for the person.
Police found the person holed up in a nearby apartment. As officers went up to get into the apartment, but person ran off.
Around 6:15 p.m., the suspect was found and arrested. He hadn’t gone far from the apartment complex.
