SAN FRANCISCO (KRON)— The San Francisco Police Department arrested three suspects Monday who are linked to five gold necklace robberies.

Marc Dorsey,19, Byron Birchett, 18, and Razzaaq Manney, 20, are now in custody after a officer spotted the suspected getaway car parked on the 700 block of Jackson Street.

A few minutes later, police were notified of a robbery on the 1100 block of Stockton Street and witnesses were holding a suspect.

The witnesses told police the suspect pulled a necklace off an woman and another suspect left the scene before police arrived.

Officers found a second suspect nearby and took him into custody.

Police conducted an additional investigation which lead them to a third suspect.

All the robberies started in June 2016. The suspects would rip the gold chains off of people’s necks and then leave in an SUV.

The three men have been booked into the San Francisco County Jail.
