BERKELEY (KRON) — A sexual battery was reported on the UC Berkeley campus on July 5, according to campus police.

Police said a man went up to at least two female summer school students and kissed them without their consent. The suspect may have also committed a sexual battery by touching a female inappropriately through her clothes, according to police.

A person of interest has been identified.

He is described as a white man, about 50 years old, roughly 5 feet 9 inches tall, weighing 135 pounds, with brown hair and brain or hazel eyes.

Police said the suspect may have prominent cheekbones and/or a dark beard stubble on his face. He was wearing casual clothes and carried a camera, skateboard, and backpack, police said.
