Sexual assault reported in parking lot near UC Berkeley

BERKELEY (KRON) — Police in Berkeley are investigating a report of a sexual assault near the UC Berkeley campus, according to a Crime Alert.

Police said UCPD got a report about the sexual assault on Sunday at around 2:29 p.m. in the Oxford Parking Lot, located at Hearst and Oxford. The victim was a female student walking through the parking lot where she was grabbed and sexually assaulted by a man, police said.

Univeristy and Berkeley police are investigating this case.
