DOVER, Del. (AP) – Dover police have charged a convicted sex offender with repeatedly raping a 15-year-old girl’s, resulting in her pregnancy.
Authorities say 59-year-old Larry Cunningham is charged with 20 counts of fourth-degree rape and one count of contact with a child by a registered sex offender.
Police say they learned of the case after the girl delivered a child belonging to Cunningham.
Investigators say Cunningham and girl had sexual intercourse at least 20 times during a six-month period
Cunningham is being held on $106,000 secured bond.
Cunningham has been a registered sex offender since 1990, after being convicted in 1988 of unlawful sexual intercourse.
