CONCORD (KRON) — Three or four brush fires broke out Monday morning along Highway 4 near Concord, according to a fire dispatcher.

Crews responded to the fires around 9:55 a.m. in the area of Willow Pass Road and Highway 4, and have since contained 3 of the fires.

Witnesses calling the California Highway Patrol reported heavy smoke from the fire making it difficult to see the road.
