SAN JOSE (KRON) — Second Harvest Food Bank of Santa Clara and San Mateo Counties is asking for donations to help them feed less fortunate families during the holidays.
This year, they are short 4,000 turkeys to go with the Thanksgiving meals, according to officials with the nonprofit organization.
Second Harvest is one of the largest food banks in the nation. They provide food to more than one-quarter of a million people every month.
People can help by bringing in food donations to any of their locations found here. Or they can donate online here.
