CONCORD (KRON) — Concord police confirmed that the search for a missing father is over after his body was discovered Saturday morning in a parked car.
At around 11:20 a.m. a citizen called police and reported an unresponsive man in a parked car in the area of Clayton Road and Ayers Road, police said.
After further investigation, police determined the deceased man was 48-year-old Glenn Kaplan.
He was last seen by his family on Mother’s Day, when he told his family he was leaving for a meeting.
Family members told KRON4’s Ella Sogomonian that police saw Kaplan on surveillance video from an Arco gas station on Clayton and Ayers roads Monday morning around 8:00 a.m.
The Concord family was worried sick since his disappearance.
“We went to say goodbye and he was in a hurry,” his mother Patricia Fabsits said. “That was the last time I saw him, was him going out the door.”
Kaplan’s family was concerned by his sudden disappearance, explaining that he had been upset since receiving a recent diagnosis.
According to police, there is no indication that foul play surrounding his death.WHAT OTHERS ARE CLICKING ON:
