WALNUT CREEK (KRON) — Disturbing graffiti was found in the boys bathroom of Las Lomas High School, warning that a school shooting would take place today.
A staff member found the graffiti and notified school officials who contacted the police. The message read, “All you posers will get shot tomorrow 3/24.”
According to police, Walnut Creek PD will be present at the school all day, with plain clothes officers roaming the school.
Police say they do not consider the graffiti a credible threat but are taking all precautions to ensure safety.
The principal sent out a message to the school community this morning alerting everyone of the threat and some parents arrived soon after to pick up their children from school.
