SANTA ROSA (KRON)—Santa Rosa police have arrested a man accused of sharing child pornography online Wednesday.
An agent with the U.S. Department of Homeland Security found someone sharing the information from a home on the 1300 block of Wright Street.
Detectives from the Santa Rosa police began their own investigation and were able to gather enough evidence to obtain a search warrant for the home.
When the search warrant was issued, police examined all the computers inside. One of the computers found had large amounts of child pornography.
Police arrested 48-year-old Claud L. Gibson of Santa Rosa.
Gibson has been booked into the Sonoma County Jail on a felony charge of possession of obscene matter involving person under 18 years of age.
His bail is set to $30,000.
