SANTA ROSA (KRON)– A vehicle pursuit occurred on Wednesday night following an arrest of a Santa Rosa man.

Xavier Olivarez, 22, of Santa Rosa, was arrested on outstanding charges. He had a warrant out for his arrest and was on suspicion of a

DUI, felony of evading a police officer in a vehicle, driving on a suspended license, violation of probation, and child endangerment.

At 8:08 p.m. Wednesday, a Santa Rosa police officer was patrolling the area of Sebastopol Road and Lombardi Lane when he saw a green Honda turn

As the officer pursued the vehicle onto Campbell Drive and then onto Quintin Place, the driver stopped and fled on foot into a residential neighborhood, where he was later identified as Olivarez.
