Santa Clara City Council to continue discussing Levi’s Stadium alcohol policy

SANTA CLARA (KRON) — On Tuesday night, the Santa Clara City Council is expected to once again consider revising the alcohol policy at Levi’s Stadium.

Last week, city council members considered a second-half booze ban, and they wanted more information about the prospect of tweaking their current policy.

Currently, alcohol sales are cut off at the end of the third quarter at San Francisco 49ers games.

The city council and local police are also considering whether more officers would help violence in and around the stadium on game days.
