SAN MATEO (KRON) — The San Mateo County Sheriff’s Department is searching for an at-risk missing 73-year-old Portola Valley resident on Monday night, sheriff’s deputies said.
Peter Boot was last seen Monday at around 6:15 a.m. leaving his home on Kiowa Court. Deputies said he left his house in his car, a 2006 silver Toyota Tacoma with the license plate No. 8B520288.
“According to his family, this is unusual behavior for him. The common areas that Mr. Boot frequents have been checked with negative results,” sheriff’s deputies said in a press release.
Boot left his house without his wallet, cellphone, and medication, deputies said. He suffers from a medical condition that could disorient him.
He is described as 6 feet 3 inches tall, 185 pounds, with grey hair and blue eyes.
