SAN JOSE (KRON) — San Jose police are hunting for two men who pulled off a brazen heist at a popular restaurant — and the act was caught on video.
It happened early Friday morning at the Mojo Burger on Bird avenue in the Willow Glen neighborhood. Surveillance video shows two men, one of them carrying a large crow bar, enter an office where they pry loose a safe that was bolted to the floor. The video shows the men place the safe on a dolly, and then wheel it out the back door.
The owner suspects the culprits are the same pair who broke in last Monday to case the place, returning Friday morning for the safe.
A $2,500 reward is being offered for information leading to the arrests of the suspects.
