The suspect was located and arrested without incident at approximately 3:37 P.M. on the 5200 block of Dent Avenue.
The scene has been rendered safe and residents in the neighborhood can resume their daily activities. The suspect will be booked into the Santa Clara County Jail.
No injuries were reported.

SAN JOSE (KRON) — The San Jose Police Department is asking residents to to stay in their homes and lock their doors while officers search for a suspect.
According to police, the 20-year-old man is sought in connection with stealing a vehicle and brandishing a handgun.
“This person was seen brandishing a handgun and should be considered armed and dangerous,” police said.
The incident happened Saturday at around 1:17 p.m. in the area of Tobias Drive and Amelia Drive in South San Jose. Officers received reports of a rollover collision involving a stolen vehicle
“Witnesses reported the suspect exited the vehicle and fled from the scene on foot,” police said in a release. “The suspect brandished a handgun at a witness and continued to run into the neighborhood.”
The suspect reportedly jumped fences in the neighborhood and has not been located.
Officers have set up a perimeter to contain the suspect and are conducting a search in the area of Tobias Drive and Amelia Drive.
“Residents in this area are being asked to stay in their homes and lock their doors,” police warned.
Residents are asked to call 911 if they see a suspicious person in or around their homes and neighborhood
The suspect was described as a white male adult in his mid 20’s with a shaved head. No further description is available at this time.
