A real estate research firm has come out with a list of what it considers the country’s best neighborhoods–and the South Bay ranks high.
ATTOM Data Solutions looked at more than 10,000 neighborhoods across the nation and an area of San Jose came in at No. 3.
It ranked high on factors including schools, crime, unemployment rates, and home price appreciation.
Specifically, it’s the Union Neighborhood of San Jose. The report calls its top 5 picks as “great neighborhoods” which represent a lot of diversity.
Aside from San Jose, the No. 1 neighborhood is in Naples, Florida.
No. 2 on the list is Mobile, Alabama. Ranked fourth is Charlotte, North Carolina.
And ranked No. 5 is the city of Denver, Colorado.
Aside from the positive buzz, the list is considered useful for realtors making a sales pitch to buyers.
