San Jose’s mayor is challenging the Twitterverse.

Mayor Sam Liccardo tweeted Tuesday that if he gets 1 million retweets, he will get San Jose’s logo tattooed on his body. 

“My staff dared me to follow Jake’s example, so I told them I’d do it for 1M retweets,” he tweeted.

Mayor Liccardo assured his wife in the message it probably wouldn’t happen. 

“Don’t worry, @kohl_garcia – they tell me it’s impossible!” he added.

Mayor Liccardo retweeted a photo of the city’s logo which was tattooed on a man’s leg. 

So far the tweet has been retweeted more than 700 times.
