Christopher Kohrs, the San Francisco police officer once known as the “Hot Cop of the Castro,” has been found guilty of felony hit-and-run.
Kohrs had been accused of hitting two pedestrians in North Beach back in 2015 and then leaving the scene.
“It does not matter who you are or who you work for, everyone will be held accountable for their actions,” San Francisco District Attorney spokesman Max Szabo said in a statement.
A passenger testified that Kohrs was the designated driver that night and appeared to be sober at the time but did not react fast enough.
