San Francisco is the latest city to join in on the efforts to conserve some of the Earth’s energy by turning off its lights for one hour on Saturday.
The city will turn off lights along the Golden Gate Bridge, The Transamerica Pyramid Center, Ghirardelli Square, and several buildings with non-essential lighting at 8:30 p.m.
Bay Area residents are encouraged to show support by simply flipping their switches off for one hour
