SAN FRANCISCO (KRON) — San Francisco police have reunited a man with his 107-year-old violin on Tuesday.
Police sent out a picture of the reunion. The man’s car was broken into and the violin was taken, police said.
Police found the instrument while patroling UN Plaza.
They said officers approached a group of men who took off, leaving behind the violin in its case.
When officers opened it, they found a card with the contact information for the owner.
They gave him a call, and he now has his prized instrument back.
