SAN FRANCISCO (KRON) — In the wake of recent criminal activity in San Francisco in the last 24 hours, police are on heightened alert.
San Francisco police have a plan to keep local residents and tourists safe over the Fourth of July weekend. The city’s tourists sports will be busier than ever, with many coming for the fireworks celebration Saturday night.
But Wednesday’s murder at Pier 14 has some on edge. With thousands expected to flood the areas surrounding Pier 39 and Aquatic Park, police are putting additional officers on patrol to help keep everyone safe.
