San Francisco police graduates its 244th recruit class

SAN FRANCISCO (KRON) — San Francisco will have some new officers manning the streets next week.

The police department graduated its 244th recruit class Friday night.

Two of the recruits were 26-year old twin brothers, who have become leaders in their class.

KRON 4’s Jeff Bush talked with the new officers Friday night.

One said he was assigned to the Mission police station. The other said he was assigned to the Tenderloin police station.

“We could be at two places at one time pretty much,” one twin said. “So that’s the benefit.”

San Francisco police had 32 graduates Friday night.
