San Francisco police find missing 10-year-old girl

UPDATE: The girl has been found safe.


SAN FRANCISCO (KRON) — The San Francisco Municipal Transportation Agency is reporting a missing 10-year-old girl around Third and Hudson in San Francisco on Tuesday afternoon.


The SFMTA tweeted the girl is African-American, and was wearing a red shirt, gray pants, a pink or purple backpack, and was barefoot.

The mother reported her daughter missing just after 3:00 p.m. The daughter had been missing about 10 minutes when the mother called.

She could be on the 19, 54, or T-Third Muni buses. San Francisco police are searching for the girl.

Police are looking into the possibility that the girl may be at a relative or friend’s house.

If you see her, you’re asked to contact police.

No other information is available by police.
