SAN FRANCISCO (KRON) — San Francisco police have arrested a 49-year-old suspect accused of a felony hit-and-run on Saturday afternoon, police said.

Police said Nelson Burgos was booked on Tuesday for the hit-and-run that happened at Folsom and 25th Street at around 4:20 p.m.

The girl was in a crosswalk at 25th and Folsom streets when she was struck by the northbound motorcyclist in a collision reported at 4:20 p.m., according to police.

The victim is an 8-year-old girl who is still in the hospital with life-threatening injuries.

Burgos was booked for felony DUI, felony hit-and-run, felony reckless driving, and four traffic infractions, police said.Bay City News contributed to this report.
