SAN FRANCISCO (KRON/BCN) — A man was robbed and carjacked Tuesday morning when he left the keys in his vehicle’s ignition at a gas station in San Francisco’s Bayview District, police said Wednesday.
The 20-year-vctim went inside the gas station in the 3800 block of Third Street around 9:30 a.m. and left his keys in the ignition, according to police.
One male suspect distracted the victim while the second allegedly jumped on him and took his property, including a gold watch and gold chain.
The two suspects then fled in the victim’s vehicle.
Police were eventually able to locate the vehicle and arrested two suspects in connection with the incident.
The suspect’s names had not been released as of this morning.
