SAN FRANCISCO (KRON) — Today the San Francisco SPCA and Macy’s Union Square are unveiling the 30th annual Holiday Windows! The window displays feature adorable, adoptable cats and dogs who need loving homes.
The Windows will open today at 5 p.m. at Macy’s Union Square, on the corner of Stockton and O’Farrell Streets. Adoptions can be made from today through Jan. 1st.
This year’s Windows are inspired by Macy’s “Believe” campaign and decorated to be Santa’s home away from home. The unveiling will be hosted by Top Chef Just Dessert winner Yigit Pura, and children in the De Marillac Academy choir will perform classic holiday songs.
More than 8,800 animals have found new homes through Holiday Windows. Last year alone 261 animals were adopted and more than $88,000 was raised to provide year-round support for the SF SPCA’s lifesaving programs.
