(KRON) The 36th Annual San Francisco Fleet Week starts this weekend drawing more than one million people to see the Naval Ships and Air Teams perform over the Bay. This year the Air Show is Friday October 7, Saturday October 8 and Sunday October 9.

The main attraction is the U.S. Navy’s flight demonstration team The Blue Angels. The squadron arrives three days earlier this year than in previous years, flying into the Bay Area Sunday evening.

Here is the Blue Angels flight schedule which is based on the weather conditions:

  • October 2, 6:00 p.m. Blue Angels arrival to the Bay Area
  • October 3, 9:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. Media flights
  • October 6, 1:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. Airshow practice
  • October 7, 1:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. Airshow
  • October 8, 12:30 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. Airshow
  • October 9, 12:30 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. Airshow
  • October 10, 10:00 a.m. Blue Angels departure from the Bay Area

KRON4 will broadcast the 2016 Fleet Week air show and Blue Angels Live on Saturday October 8 from 2-4 p.m.KRON4’S WILL TRAN’S 2015 FLIGHT WITH THE BLUE ANGELS

The Parade of Ships is the other spectacular attraction. The USS San Diego sails under the Golden Gate Bridge on Monday at noon. Tours of the ship start Tuesday October 4 at 10 a.m. at Piers 30 and 32.

The Parade of Ships is Friday October 7 from 11 a.m. until noon. The best place to watch the naval vessels sail into the Bay is along Crissy Field.

Noon the HMCS Calgary arrives at Piers 15/17.

3 p.m. the USN Pacific Fleet Band plays on Union Street.
