SAN FRANCISCO (KRON) — The San Francisco Fire Department has contained the two-alarm structure fire in Fisherman’s Wharf, according to fire officials.
According to a fire spokeswoman, the fire was in a residential building.
The spokeswoman said the first report of the fire came in a 9 a.m. on Bergen Alley, a small alley off Hyde Street between North Point and Bay streets.
The fire killed a dog in a three-story apartment building. No people were hurt, but a few lost their homes.
The Red Cross is responding to the fire to help any displaced residents.
