A firefighter suffered minor injuries and four people are displaced after an overnight fire in San Francisco, according to San Francisco Fire department.

Crews responded to the 3-alarm fire at 11:53 p.m. at a three-story residential building at 1333 Columbus.

The building was built in 1901 and was one of few in the area to survive the 1906 7.8 San Francisco earthquake.

The fire was reported under control by 12:50 a.m.

The injured firefighter was treated at the scene and released to go back to work. Officials did not describe the nature of the injury.

Four adults were displaced and are receiving help from the Red Cross.

Five tourists were temporarily displaced from their Airbnb due to the smoke. They are also getting assistance from Red Cross.

Crews are still on scene.

In the past the Fiddler’s Green of SF has received the Certificate of Honor from the Board of Supervisors.
