SAN FRANCISCO (KRON)—The San Francisco 49ers announced Saturday that it has released nine players from the team.
Wide receiver DiAndre Campbell, running back Kendall Gaskins, defensive line Darren Lake, kicker John Lunsford, line backer Wynton McManis, wide receiver Jerome Simpson, Ian Silberman, and Cleveland Wallace are no longer on the Niners.
The football team also says wide receiver Eric Rogers is on the Injured Reserve List.
The 49ers now have 79 people on its team. It is required to trim down its roster to 75 players by August 30.
