(KRON) — Baby food made by the company called Graceleigh is being recalled because of a potentially fatal health concern.
Sammy’s Milk is being recalled because of the possible presence of Cronobacter.
Cronobacter is a bacteria that can cause severe, and sometimes fatal blood infections or meningitis in infants.
Officials say the baby food also does not contain enough iron.
The FDA forced the recall because the product does not meet FDA requirements in order to be considered formula, despite being marketed as such.
No illnesses have been reported.
