SALINAS (BCN) — Police in Salinas Saturday morning are investigating a shooting that left man in critical condition.
Officers with the Salinas Police Department responded at 1:13 a.m. to a report of a shooting at Towt Street and Kentucky Avenue and located a man suffering from multiple gunshot wounds on the sidewalk in the 200 block of Towt Street, according to police.
The victim, a 29-year-old, told police he was on his way to work when someone started shooting at him.
He taken to a hospital and was listed in critical condition, police said.
Police are investigating if the shooting was gang-related.
