SALINAS (BCN) — Salinas police are requesting the public’s help in locating a child molestation suspect who may be in Mexico. Oscar Sandoval Avelino, 38, is wanted on $1 million bail for alleged forcible lewd acts on a child that happened several years ago, police said.
Detectives said the victim was younger than 10 at the time of the alleged offenses.
Investigators do not know where Avelino lives and there is a possibility he’s fled to Mexico, according to police.
