(KRON)—Safeway will open three stores in the Bay Area on September 14 and 15.
The stores will be located in Oakland, Pacifica and Walnut Creek.
“We are excited to open three new stores to meet the needs of our customers and create new jobs in the Bay Area. These new stores will give customers new local, fresh and organic options,” said Tom Schwilke, President of Safeway Northern California.
During the store openings, six Bay Area non-profits will be presented with a $2,500 donation from the Safeway Foundation.
Safeway management and community leaders will hold a presentation at the events.
