SAN FRANCISCO (KRON) — San Francisco transit is making adjustments to accommodate the Pride celebration and parade on Sunday.
The San Francisco Pride parade starts at 10:30 a.m. from Market and Beale, with a route on Market to Eighth Street, in the Civic Center area, where the celebration will take place.
MUNI will reroute some bus lines to make room for the festivities.
The 5, 19 and 21 routes will reroute all day. The 3, 25, 47, 49, 76X and will be subject to delays. All other routes will reroute as noted on SFMTA’s website.
Muni will be running two-car trains on the KT, L and M lines.
SFMTA staff will also sell fare receipts at the east end of Civic Center Station and Castro Station so customers do not have to wait for a vending machine:TRANSFER POINTS WITH THE MARKET STREET SUBWAY

The 30 north of downtown and 45 will not connect with the Market Street subway.RE-ROUTES DUE TO PRIDE MARCH AND CELEBRATION
From 7 a.m. until the end of the celebration, the F Market and Wharves Line will not operate on Market Street between Van Ness Avenue and The Embarcadero. During that time, the historic streetcar service will operate between Fisherman’s Wharf and the Ferry Building at the foot of Market Street, and in the Castro/Upper Market area, on Market Street between Castro Street and Van Ness Ave.

BART will run longer trains and add special event trains as needed for the LGBT Pride celebration in San Francisco and other events.
The parade route can be accessed from any of BART’s downtown San Francisco stations.
