ROHNERT PARK (KRON) — Police in Rohnert Park are searching for a missing 13-year-old boy considered to be at-risk on Thursday morning.

James Herrington, 13, was last seen on Wednesday around 9 p.m. in the neighborhood around his home in the 1100 block of Emily Avenue, according to police.

Police believe he may be disoriented and wandering around on foot.

The boy’s family said he has become disoriented with his surroundings in the past, and wandered around until he was able to make his way back home.

He was last seen wearing a long sleeve white shirt with blue and red plaid pajama pants, but was not wearing any shoes.

Family describes him as a white male, 5’7″ tall, 100 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes.

The Rohnert Park Department of Public Safety is conducting an active search for James. Anyone with any information pertaining to James’ whereabouts is asked to call this agency at (707) 584-2600.
