SAN FRANCISCO (KRON/AP) – New developments in the battle over Robin Williams’ estate: Williams’ children are asking a judge to toss out a claim made by the late actor’s wife, saying she’s trying to increase her share of his estate at their expense.
In the latest court filing from the ongoing dispute, Zachary, Zelda and Cody Williams asked a judge to dismiss a petition filed by Susan Williams.
The petition asked the court to exclude the contents of the Tiburon home that she shared with Williams. The children say they are entitled to his clothing and other personal items.
The filing on Friday says the estate’s trustees have determined the division of all of Williams’ personal property and those decisions are final. They say the trustees have also arrived at a figure for a reserve fund for Susan Williams.
A call to Susan Williams’ attorney was not immediately returned.
Last week, fans marked one year since the beloved actor and comedian took his own life in his Tiburon home.
