PITTSBURG (BCN) — A robbery at a Pittsburg massage parlor led to a fatal shooting on Sunday night, according to police.
An employee at Super Massage at 156 Atlantic Ave. was found slain after officers responded at 8:20 p.m. to a reported shooting at the location, Pittsburg police Capt. Ron Raman said.
Police learned a suspect entered the massage parlor, demanded money and then fought with employees. During the scuffle, the suspect took out a firearm and shot an employee before fleeing, Raman said.
The employee, a man whose identity has not been released, suffered at least one gunshot wound and was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police are still seeking the suspect in the shooting. Witnesses are being interviewed as part of the investigation, according to Raman.
