In today’s edition of Rob Black’s Winners and Losers, our financial expert Rob Black and KRON4’s James Fletcher talk about the Mega Millions and Power Ball jackpots, Fortnite Season 6, and an update on how Nike’s doing after its controversial Kaepernick ad.
Rob also answers the viewer question, “Are you worried that the government will destroy our economy?”
Nike benefits from Kaep’s ‘Just Do It’ ad: CEO Mark Parker is telling analysts the apparel giant has gained “both socially and commercially” from the campaign. For the period, Nike recorded double-digit earnings growth. It’s too early to tell if Nike will eventually see a bump in its financial results from the alliance with Kaep.
Fortnite Season 6 coming out Thursday: The official launch date is Sept. 27. The game is pulling in $350 million plus a month in virtual items.
More than $500 million is up for grabs in the Mega Millions and Powerball. If you win either, you’ll need to choose between taking a lump sum immediately or stretching your winnings over several decades.
