How about an automobile that can keep pace with a $1.4 million Ferrari LaFerrarisupercar for about one-tenth the price? That’s the latest proposition from Tesla, whose electric sedans will now be capable of hitting 60 miles per hour in a scant 2.5 seconds, on par with Ferrari’s latest state-of-the-art machine.


Uber is now offering drivers in select cities assistance in planning for retirement. Uber is partnering with Betterment, an online investment and wealth management company, to provide a year of automated investment management advice for drivers in Seattle, Boston, Chicago and the state of New Jersey.

Friday is National Dog Day, celebrating man’s best friend and encouraging people to adopt. With that in mind, it might be helpful to know that the first year of dog ownership will cost anywhere from $1,314 for smaller dogs up to $1,843 for the largest breeds. That includes one-time expenses such as spaying and neutering.
