Apple missed by a mile. Fanning concerns the world has finally reached a saturation point with smartphones, Apple stunned investors by missing revenue and profit forecasts for the March quarter. It was even worse than widely expected – and expectations were already low.
Twitter’s stock fell more than 15 percent after the social network reported mixed quarterly results and posted guidance that disappointed Wall Street. Twitter shares have suffered mightily this year, falling 35 percent. The stock has also dropped more than 70 percent in the last 12 months.
Prince’s sister believes the superstar musician didn’t have a will and asked a Minnesota court on Tuesday to appoint a trust company to temporarily oversee his multimillion-dollar estate. Tyka Nelson, Prince’s only full sibling, said in the court filing that immediate action was necessary to manage Prince’s business interests following his death last week at Paisley Park, his famous home and recording studio complex in suburban Minneapolis.
