SAN FRANCISCO (KRON) — San Francisco leads a new list of the most dog-friendly cities in the country, according to a report.
A company called SmartAsset analyzed metrics and took into account things like the number of dog parks and weather.
First-ranked San Francisco has the 7th-most dog parks per 100,000 residents and ranks second in a walkability score.
The other four friendliest cities for dogs are Las Vegas, Denver, San Diego, and Albuquerque.
Sacramento was sixth. New York ranked 10th on the list.
And Los Angeles was down the list in 18th place.
