LOS ANGELES (KRON) — Los Angeles police detectives are preparing to question a 25-year-old model who claims she was drugged and sexually assaulted by comedian Bill Cosby in 2008, according to DailyMail.com.
Chloe Goins told DailyMail in 2014 Cosby spiked her drink in 2008 at the Playboy Mansion and then sexually assaulted her at a party. When she woke up, she said Cosby was licking her feet and pleasuring himself.
This comes after court documents released Monday found Cosby admitted to getting Quaalades used to drug women for sex. Since the other 40 alleged victims came forward with sex abuse claims against Cosby past the statute of limitations, Cosby has never been criminally prosecuted.
But Goins said she hopes her claim against Cosby will finally hold the comic responsible for his actions.
“‘I’m very relieved that everyone now knows that I’ve spoken the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth,” Goins told DailyMail.com. “The latest revelations hopefully now will lead to the fullest criminal prosecution of Mr Cosby for his sexual crimes against myself and all the other victims.”
Since Goins made her claims against Cosby six years ago, she is the only of the comic’s alleged victims who could press criminal or make civil claims against the comic.
Goins’ lawyer Spencer Kuvin said the case against Cosby is “alive and well.”
Police told Kuvin they are actively investigating the case.
Cosby has repeatedly denied wrongdoing, but Kuvin said he will finally be held accountable for his actions.
“I was contacted by the police and they do want to continue and follow up with the investigation. They wanted to reassure me that the investigation was still a pending one – that it was still open,” Kuvin told DailyMail.com. “I believe this is the beginning of the end for Mr Cosby – particularly in terms of his public image.”
