Deputies arrested a Redwood City man on Wednesday on suspicion of sexual assault, sheriff’s officials said.
Juan Ramirez Ruiz, 25, was placed under arrest for forcible rape and oral copulation, according to the San Mateo County Sheriff’s Office.
The investigation stemmed from April 2017, when a female victim reported being sexually assaulted by Ruiz inside his apartment.
Ruiz allegedly admitted to having violent sexual tendencies towards women, according to authorities.
Deputies believe there could be additional victims.
