CHARLESTON, S.C. (KRON) – New video shows the man arrested for the massacre that took place during a prayer service inside a historically black church in South Carolina Wednesday night.
A white man, identified as 21-year old Dylann Storm Roof, opened fire during a Bible study class at the church in Charleston, S.C. killing nine people Wednesday evening, police say.
Roof sat among those attending the bible study for about hour, then opened fire on the congregation, killing 9.
Six of the victims were women, three were men, according to police. A 5-year-old child survived the massacre by playing dead, according KRON affiliate WCBD.
