(KRON)—Rain in the North Bay is expected to move south toward San Francisco and the rest of the Bay Area Sunday morning, according to the National Weather Service.

The rain might be heavy at times.

The North Bay will have the greatest amount of rain from three quarters to 1.5 inches in the valleys.

Higher elevations in Marin, Napa and Sonoma counties will have 1.5 to 2.5 inches of rain.TRACK THE STORM: StormTracker 4

Oakland and San Francisco will have about half an inch of rain. San Jose is expected to have the least amount, according to weather officials.

Most of the rain will fall during the early morning hours. Thunderstorms are a possibility in the North Bay and could produce hail, lightning and gusty winds.

Light rain might linger throughout the Bay Area Sunday.

The storm is expected to stop sometime Sunday night and Monday morning, but the rain could come back Monday night during trick-or-treating.
