FREMONT (KRON) — A woman was assaulted and robbed in a Fremont parking lot on Friday morning.
The robbery was reported around 11:00 a.m. in the 38700 block of Lexington Street.
The female victim was knocked to the ground by a suspect who stole her purse. The suspect fled the scene in a black, four-door vehicle that may have been a Honda Accord, police said.
Investigators did not find any witnesses or surveillance video.
The suspect is described as a black male, standing about 6 feet tall, that was wearing a black hoodie and black pants.Bay City News contributed to this report.
