Public Works handing out free sandbags to San Francisco residents

Are you a San Francisco resident living in a flood-prone area?

San Francisco Public Works is continuing to hand out up to 10 free sandbags to residents and businesses located in areas prone to flooding until 2 p.m. Saturday.

You can pick up your sandbags at the Public Works’ operation yard at Marin Street/Kansas Street gate.

You must bring proof of address.
